The Story: The Bangkok Refugee Center (BRC) is responsible for provision of basic services (education, social work, psychosocial, medical services, and community outreach services) to urban refugees in Thailand. These displaced people come from 44 countries including Sri Lanka, Laos, China and Somalia.

Target: Asylum seekers (people awaiting recognition as refugees) and recognized refugees.

Goal: We’ll quote the BRC’s vision which says, “To proactively render appropriate humanitarian relief services, particularly to the extremely vulnerable individuals that will enable them to live their lives with dignity and encourage them to be productive and caring members of their community.”
