The Story: The Makhampom Foundation brings theatre to communities giving them the ability to tell their stories and create a dialogue about communities issues. These topics include HIV awareness, conflict resolution, drug abuse, and other issues needing attention in these communities.

Goal: Strengthen communities to produce their own local media through varied means, usually theatre.

Target: Voiceless communities. Refugees. Hill Tribes. Urban Slums. War Torn Southern Thailand.

Projects: Their program is quite large and includes: Student Camps, Theatre Labs, Cultural/Study Tours, and Internships. They have studios both in Bangkok and in Chiang Dao (70km outside of Chiang Mai).
