Your experience on twitter is definitely made or shattered by who you’re following. I’ll be posting my recommendations here every Friday. I hope you follow, meet, and engage cool tweeple.
Recommending you get your dosage of do-gooders by following (I will post 10 twppl and why you should follow them here weekly): @CharityIdeas @Cars4Causes @perthtones @10best @hardlynormal @abales @invisiblepeople @OperationNICE @BRCthai @smileproject
I’m fresh on the tracks of (the last five twppl I followed): @RobinThailand @kathyoreilly @theIRC @kimsuree @dvdlpz
This week’s most interesting conversation was with: @expatcoach (see her latest post: Culture Crossing: A Valuable Resource for Expats Living & Working Abroad)
Gotta see (a link I caught this week that should be passed on): This link (via @hardlynormal) was shocking because I used to live in Sacramento – Hardly Normal’s Day 2 Sacramento Tent Cities.

Thanks for reading. I’ll be glad to follow you or someone you think is worthwhile. Leave a comment with their id so other readers call follow them too. (For more recommendations see the recent post: The Basics of Tweeting Responsibly)

I am REALLY interested in knowing who shattered your experience and why!

My experience on twitter was sending a message once every month for about six months. I didn’t really get into it until I found out someone close to me was using it. Now I REGRET not getting on sooner.
Since then, it’s been all uphill. I follow some really interesting and responsive people (including you, hp88). However, I do have friends that didn’t last their first week on twitter and chatted with a few people who haven’t had the best experience with people they met.
What’s your experience been?

I love it, but I think I have that “disorder” you mentioned that makes it fit with me! The friends I have tried to introduce Twitter to have all dropped off almost immediately – they just don’t have the Twitter gene. So 99.9% of my followers/following are new people tweeting in my life. It’s all been positive so far and a great source of information and fun. Not to mention a really interesting insight into other people’s minds! Good to meet you too : )
