I’ve been busy rounding up support for our families and I’m pretty close to having them all sponsored and some support for a few of them on into January (there’s still room to help if you want to pitch in).

So far people from all over the world have donated or have given me great feedback. That’s either because the families’ stories are compelling or perhaps because many of us think about our own families this time of year and realize how much we have to be thankful for.

Together we’ve created this beautiful picture of people coming together, but I’m afraid I may be the only one seeing it completely. I want to share this joint effort with all of you and the families we’re helping, but I need your help.

If you’d like to send a holiday message to our families, email it (dwight@insearchofsanuk.com) and attach a picture you and your family (if you don’t have a festive one yet, send last year’s or one from 1989). You don’t have to have donated to send something, but if you did, you’re really encouraged to participate. I’ll throw your contributions in a blog and share them with readers and with the families when I deliver the support you’ve sent.

I don’t want to keep this collective image of Christmas to myself, so please submit something by next Friday, Dec. 17th. Thanks!
