Goodwill Foundation – Website – Facebook
This org is group we’ve heard a lot about after one of regular volunteers began helping out there too. They are regularly looking for English teachers to run their English classes with disadvantaged women. Send your CV to goodwill@goodwillbangkok.org to begin the process. Classes are usually on the weekend, but there are some opportunities for people with time during the week also. Contact them directly to find out more about the work they’re doing.

Thai Craft Fair is an awesome organization which brings together quality fair trade products for purchase in Bangkok and online. While it’s great to attend their occasional fairs, you can be a big benefit to the organization by requesting to be a volunteer. Please read the volunteer section the the Thai Craft site and email volunteers@thaicraft.org to get started.

Initiative to use do photography workshops with children in Bangkok. Help needed to teach and help round up people’s unused cameras. Find out more on Photolanthrophy’s website.
Volunteer Teaching in Tak Province
Thai Committee for Refugees Foundation (TCR) - Website
TCR is looking for volunteers who will teach English in schools in Tak province, Thailand and other designated schools along the Thailand‐Myanmar border. The end of March and September are the 2012 deadlines for applications. To request an application or more information about a volunteer teaching position contact hpark@thaiforrefugees.org.
Where to Take In Kind Donations & Used Goods in Bangkok
Bangkok Mothers and Babies International (BAMBI) – Website
BAMBI supports charities by selling donated used items. If you have used clothes or other goods which are still in good quality contact BAMBI to make a donation. You can also help by attending their fairs and events. Items not sold are given to Second Chance Bangkok which assists the under privileged in the Khlong Toey Community.

Here’s a list of organizations which may or may not need volunteers. However, they are always in need of a constant stream of funds and supplies. Please contact them for more details about their projects. The majority are outside of Bangkok.
